Field Notes From Jenny…Week Ending 6/30/18

Waiting to be able to get back in to the field with the tiller. So may transplants ready to go!
But the ground is still saturated.

We definitely lost a lot of potatoes.

Transplants ready to go.

Snapdragons are in for the summer!
Lilies are here today and gone tomorrow.

Salpiglossis. A new flower. Looks kinda weak to me.

Feverfew and Lisianthus. The yellow Feverfew is a trial for me. I love it!
It is a perennial that blooms the first year. I will be growing more next year.

First signs of cantaploupe.

A Roseanne type. lisianthus. Now if I can just locate a label to figure out the color
name..I try so hard to label new varieties...but the elements work against me.

Morning moon over the cabbage. Too enchanting to not photograph.
I treasure my early morning walks through the garden!!!
